This individual, while on parole for a variety of convictions, continued his
criminal endevors. In May 2005, he was arrested for failing to perform work
after being paid. This incident was reported by one of the local television stations. As of late July 2005, he
continued to be a Member in Good Standarding Report with the Greensboro
Better Business Bureau.
What is TRUELY AMAZING is that a convicted FELON was allowed to join the Better Business Bureau . The qualifications of becoming a member of the BBB is a business license and
membership fee. Mr. Lineberry used the BBB Seal and membership as tools of his
criminal pursuits as he continued to find new victims.
One victim contacted Security Consultants after the fact to find out about Mr. Lineberry. Unfortunately, by that time,
Mr. Lineberry had collected money from the victim and now the victim was
subject to making the payments to the Sub-Contactors that Mr. Lineberry had
hired to actually perform the work,
Unfortunately, Mr. Lineberry knows how the police operate and has kept his
violations under the financial ammount that the police will actively
investigate. Many of his victims simply write-off their losses and seek others
to finish the work for which Mr. Lineberry has been paid.
Had any of these victims performed a background search prior to hiring Mr.
Lineberry, it is doubtful he would have scammed thousands of dollars from
local residents in 2005.
